Dr. Clyde Diao brings more than three decades of experience in economic forecasting, econometric analysis, regional economic modeling, and public policy. He previously served as Deputy Policy Coordinator in the Florida Executive Office of the Governor, where he analyzed national economic trends and developed forecasts for Florida\u2019s demographics and revenues. He also played a key role in developing the state\u2019s econometric models and contributed to Florida\u2019s 2021 Census efforts.<\/p>\n
As Chief Economist at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Dr. Diao applied economic analysis to environmental policy and regulation and served as an expert witness in court on behalf of the State of Florida. His expertise spans economic modeling, tax forecasting, economic development, demographics, and environmental policy.<\/p>\n
